Meet our Judges

Tina Budzinski

Tina has been dancing for the past twenty years. She is well versed in tap, jazz, ballet, acro, lyrical, hip hop, cheer and pom. Tina is active with performing, teaching/choreographing and teaching master classes throughout the Midwest. She established an award winning performance troupe during her four years in Columbia, Missouri. She was an active member of the Golden Girls, a prestigious dance/drill squad at the University of Missouri which traveled throughout the country performing at bowl games and special events. She has trained under such notable professionals as Cory Finn, Ray Leeper, Tina D'Amato, Dave Carter and Tremaine, to name a few. Tina has been the head coach/choreographer for the William Jewell Dance Team for the past four years where the squad took top honors at UDA, Orlando, FL. She is also coach/choreographer for area high school dance teams. Tina also performed and entertained on the Carnival Cruise Line.

Raven Cooper

Raven is well-versed in Ballet, Lyrical, Jazz, Tap and Acrobatics. She has been performing and choreographing throughout the country for the past 22 years. Raven’s credits include Norwegian Cruise Line, NFL cheerleader, member of the Kansas City and Westport Ballet Companies, national commercials as well as modeling. Raven served as the director at Western State Performing Troup. She choreographed a children’s traveling dance production as well as a cast member of the ensemble. Raven has been a multi-studio owner for several years. She is a member/representative for Dance Education of America. She is a Master Teacher and adjudicator for many competitions. Her style of jazz and lyrical choreography has earned recognition throughout the Midwest. Her endeavors have been highlighted by the creation of TalenTeachers, Inc.; currently Raven is involved in a production video series for children that encompass Ballet, Tap, Jazz, Acrobatics and Hip Hop.

Christy Breavers

Christie’s dance experience is extensive. She has been involved in all facets of dance from traveling performer, choreographer, co-director and founder of Tap Club USA. She has been involved with such prestigious groups and performances as Orchesis I, ISU Tour Co., Pure-N-Ergy Touring Competitive Co. Christy received her dance degree from Iowa State University, IA. She is a Dance Educator of America Representative. Christy is currently working with a production company Talent Teachers on a National Video series for Children, emphasizing tap, ballet, jazz, and acrobatics. She is dance competitive director, choreographer, and teacher for American Dance Spectrum. Her students have won numerous regional and national titles throughout the United States.

Shuana Keyhill

She is well versed in tap, jazz, ballet, lyrical and hip hop. Shauna has performed in several musical productions, including Annie get Your Gun, Anything goes, Hello Dolly, and Guys and Dolls. Shauna has taught dance for the past 20 years. Her competition dance troupe, consisting of over 100 performers, has won several regional and national awards, titles and recognition throughout the United States. Shauna continues her love of dance through teaching, choreographing, performing, and training young dancers for their future in the dancing field.

Anneka Jenkins

Anneka is a dancers, performer, teacher, and choreographer. Anneka has studied all aspects of dance her entire life, including hip hop, ballet, tap, jazz, pointe and baton. She has been a performer and choreographer for the NFL Chief Cheerleaders for several years. She also was a member of the Kansas City Comet’s Dance Team. She is a dance member of the National Groove Alliance where Anneka continues to teach dance and perform. Anneka continues to choreograph for dance teams in the Midwest.

Andi Ruch

Andi is a performer, choreographer and instructor. She has studied dance for the past 18 years, where she is well versed in tap, jazz, ballet and hip hop. She has taught hip hop, ballet and jazz for the last 8 years. She studied at the University of Kansas Dance Conservatory achieving a degree in Dance. She has choreographed throughout the Midwest including Oklahoma, Nebraska and Missouri University Performance troops. Andi has won numerous scholarships (Edge Performing Arts center, Millenium Dance Complex in LA, Broadway Dance Center in New York). She traveled in a teaching capacity with West Coast Dance Explosion, Tremaine and Pacific Coast Dance Fest. She has been involved in the Miss Missouri Dancer for 3 years.

Carrie Willis

She is trained in all areas of tap, vocal, ballet, lyrical, jazz, and acrobats. She has performed in many countries, including England, France, Spain and Italy. Carrie has been in musicals as Annie Get Your Gun and guys and Dolls. Carrie taught competitive dance troupes for over five years of which she received many choreography awards. While in Branson, Carrie had been a cast member of the Shoji’s Tabuchi show for over three years. Carrie has toured with Bobby Vinton in Atlantic City, NJ and Las Vegas, NV. She performed at Caesar’s Palace, Bellagio and Paris. She recently finished a venue at the Grand Palace, in Branson, MO where she held the title of Dance Captain and Choreographer. Her Choreography credits also include the Too Tall’s Out West Show. 

Liz Digirlamo

Liz has been dancing since the age of 5. She has studied tap, jazz, ballet, lyrical, and hip hop. Liz is a performer, choreographer and dance instructor in all aspects of the dancing/cheer field. Presently, Liz is member of the NFL Chief Cheerleading Team. Liz has been active in the NFL Chief’s organization choreographing and fitness instructions for several years. Liz trained in North Hollywood, CA and was involved in the Millennium Dance Complex. Liz had the opportunity to train under well known choreographers. Liz is also director and instructor for fitness classes for the past seven years. Liz was a member of her college dance team, participating in UDA competitions, placing in the top five for four years and appeared on ESPN.

Tyler Haydon

Tyler is currently retained by Columbia Artist for the Tap Dogs. He has been involved in such entertainment industry with singing, acting, modeling and dancing. His venues have been theater, television, Broadway, industrial films, photo layouts and run way. He excels in tap complimented by his strengths in jazz and ballet. He has traveled extensively with his career performing in Canada, Japan and Italy. His back ground gives him a defining edge when he travels as a judge for National competitions. He will be resuming his highly diversified career when he returns to performing for the production of “Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dream Coat”.

Curtis Smith

Curtis trained at UMKC, UNLV and was a scholarship student of Tremaine Dance Center in Los Angeles. He assisted Joe Tremaine at master classes and conventions, as well as filming several promotional technique videos for Tremaine Conventions. Curtis has performed throughout Southern California at many special events including National Dance Day, Comedy Relief, NOHO Arts Festival, Billboard Live and regional theatre productions. After filming the TV series Fame LA, Curtis toured the world performing in original cruise ship productions. He performed in Disney’s Beauty and the Beast as well as several shows at Walt Disney World in Florida. As a choreographer, Curtis was involved in the Miss Missouri pageant and Eubank Productions. He continues to teach master classes and judge dance competitions throughout the country.

Rachel Johnson

Rachel has been dancing for the past 20 years. She is a dancer, choreographer and teacher. She has studied various styles of dance including jazz, tap, ballet, lyrical, modern, acro and clogging. Rachel has spent numerous summers traveling abroad on scholarship studying under many well renowned choreographers. Rachel is a graduate of the University of Nebraska where she was the captain and choreographer of the National award winning Scarlets for four years. Rachel lives in Lincoln, Nebraska teaching and choreographing for numerous studios. Her students have won regional and national honors. Rachel has received several chorography awards for her outstanding routines.

Melissa Hinken

Melissa has been dancing for the past 23 years. She is intensely trained in jazz, tap, ballet, lyrical, modern, and hip hop. She is a graduate of Central Missouri State University. Melissa has performed with “Stax of Wax” at Worlds of Fun, “Legends in Concert” in South Padre Island, TX and Phoenix, AZ. Melissa earned a scholarship from Gus Giordano where she danced at Gus Giordano’s Dance Center, Evanston, IL. for several years. She has had the opportunity to train, perform, choreograph, and work with such renowned dancers as Ray Leeper, Dave Carter, and Gus Giordano. Melissa continues to teach dance, and choreograph throughout the Country. She is also a Kansas City NFL Chiefs Cheerleader.

Cindy Schwartze

Cindy has zig-zagged the globe with her performances, stateside from Nashville’s “Opryland” to overseas in Ireland and the “Olympia Stadion” in Berlin, Germany. She has appeared in commercials for “Brittish Forces Broadcasting System” and “Intrust Bank” as well as print ads for “Sports Illustrated” Walmart, Nintendo and the Berlin Observer. As a dance teacher and choreographer, Cindy is trained in tap, ballet, jazz, and acrobats. She has choreographed with UMKC, KU, and the Chief’s Cheerleaders. 

Jodi Shifflet

Throughout Jodi’s career, she emphasizes education as well as performing on a continual basis. She is currently teaching in one of the most prestigious studios in Colorado while pursing her dancing career. Her repertoires of professional performances have included Sleeping Beauty, Paquita, Nutcracker, and Carmina Burana. She has received her BA in Dance with an emphasis in Choreography. She has been award scholarships for her dance abilities as well as certifications. Her training has included Classical Ballet, Modern, Tap and Jazz. Her students have wonnumerous regional and National titles.

Angie M Gallis

Angie has studied various styles of dance including ballet, pointe, jazz, tap, modern, lyrical, and clogging for 24 years. She received a degree in dance and has trained at Broadway Dance Center and Steps on Broadway in New York, The Edge Performing Art Center, Los Angeles, CA, Cincinnati Ballet, and Ballet Magnificent. Other credits include the Cleveland Cavs Dance Team, numerous regional and national awards and titles. Angie is currently serving as the US Director of Dance Teachers Online and travels the US teaching master classes and guest choreography as well as judging regional and national competitions.

Amber Taylor

Amber has been involved in the dancing world for the past 15 years. Amber is proficient in hip hop, jazz, tap, ballet, and lyrical. She is presently director, teacher, and choreographer of her own dancing studio. She has competed throughout the Midwest and achieved many regional and national titles for herself and her students. Her skills as a performer was show cased as a member or an elite performance team on ESPN. She was a former Major League Soccer, Wizards Girl. Amber spent 3 years instructing and choreographing for Universal Dance Association out of Memphis, Tenn. Her talents have allowed her to travel across the United States instructing for the National Dance Alliance. Her expertise in team choreography is in high demand from college as well as professional Sports teams.

Stacey Dion

Stacey, Denver, CO, is a graduated of the University of Northern Colorado in 1999 with a B.A. in musical theatre with an emphasis in dance performance. For the past few years, Mrs. Dion has performed with TIBS production company, Little Theater of the Rockies, UNC Theater Company, Greeley Dance Conservatory, and is a founding member of “Tone Def Tap Troupe.” Presently, Stacey is teaching at Miller’s Dance Studio and is an intricate part of their performance troop “Tour De Force”. She is heavily involved in theater throughout the Colorado region, with her choreography credits including Music Man, Crazy for You. She directed productions such as Magic Musical Tour and Fiddler on the Roof. She has taken many workshops and master classes from such renowned dancers as Cory Finn, Gil Stroming, Savion Glover and “Tap Dogs.”

Teri Parks

Teri, Miamisburg, OH, has been dancing since she was 2 ½ years old. Teri studied most forms of dance and baton. She was a competitive dancer and twirler earning many local, state, regional and nationals titles. Teri attended Wright State University as a Dance Major. She was a member of Contemporary Dance Theater and danced with Shawn Womack Dance Projects. Teri also traveled to Seoul, South Korea to work and perform with Gina Buntz. She is the director, teacher and choreographer of her own studio. Her students have been the recipients of many regional and national titles.

Sabrina Miller-Helma

From Colorado, Sabrina has been dancing since the age of three. She has been trained in tap, jazz, ballet, acrobats, modern, lyrical and ballroom. She continued her dance training through college. She is the owner, director, teacher, and choreographer of three studios with 1800 dance students enrolled in classes. Her studio produces seven Spring Recitals each year with a Ballet concert each fall. Her competition company competes locally and nationally and has won many scholarships and achieved many national titles. Sabrina has hosted master classes at her studio with Lane Alexander, Henry LeTang, The Tap Dogs, and Savion Glover. She continues to teach master classes, judge, and choreograph.

Hui Cha

Hui has been performing, choreographing and teaching dance for the past 12 years. She has a unique style of jazz and has strong hip-hop abilities. Hui has appeared in movies and videos including BATMAN AND ROBIN, HAPPY TEXAS, LITTLE WILL, CANDYMAN, AND MONIFAH. She has also appeared in Television including Billboard Live, and A Jungle Book. She has danced, acted, modeled, and sang in several theater appearances including Peter Pan, Chorus Line, Nike Cultural Shock. Hollywood Athletic Club. Hui has performed in Several Disney Shows. She has assisted Cindera Che, Rhonda Miller, and Jeff Ansden at the Edge Performing Arts Center in Los Angeles, CA. Her choreography credits include Bryan McKnight, Groove Street, Double G Prods, Cultural Shock, California Asian Festival, Mike Dance Troupe, and the National Cheerleaders Association.

Darcee Peirce

Darcee is the owner and Director of Darcess School of Dance for the past 18 years. Her studio, of over 1000 students, specializes in tumbling, ballet, jazz, tap and pom. Her award winning competition groups have won numerous regional and national titles from around the country. Darcee has been judging for the past 5 years for numerous competitions. Darcee has been named top choreographer in several dance competitions and is very active in community programs and various productions. Darcee shares her talents and love of dance by performing, teaching, choreographing and judging.

Jodi Dombrowski

Jody is the owner and Artistic director for Expressions in Dance Arts in New York. Jodi teaches all aspects of acrobats, ballet, jazz, lyrical, and modern forms of dance. He was the principle dancer/soloist in the Zodiaque Dance Company; director, choreographer/dancer in Dancer’s Workshop; choreographer/dancer in Young Choreographer’s Showcase, and principle dancer/soloist in the Greater Buffalo Opera Company. He was the principle dancer/soloist for the Miss PA Scholarship Pageant; principle dancer in exhibition for gymnastics competition; principle dancer in opening/closing ceremonies at the World Veterans Games.
