DC “CHAMPION AWARD” – Each Studio can submit one routine of their choice.  The top scoring routine will compete against other nominated performances in their regular scheduled performance time.  The Winning Performance will be awarded a special trophy and $100 DC Gift Certificate.

DC “EXCELLENCE AWARD” – Presented to the High Score Routine of the day

DC “ACHIEVEMENT AWARDS” – Our judges recognizes dancers for special accomplishments and will award special achievement awards.  Included, but not limited to, Technical Excellence, Intensity, Showmanship, Fabulous Feet, Diva, Emotion, Broadway Bound, Exquisite Extensions and more.

DC “SPIRIT AWARD” - One studio displaying respect, courtesy, outstanding sportsmanship, was prepared to compete and maintained dancer professionalism on and off the stage will be awarded $100.

DC “CHOREOGRAPHY” AWARDS – $50 will be presented to the teacher of a small group, large group, or production routine.

DC “ENTERTAINMENT AWARDS” – A special award will be awarded to a Petite/Junior and Teen/Senior group performance exhibiting entertainment elements, chosen by the judges/director of DC.

DC “MOST VALUABLE PERFORMER” (MVP) award will be presented to selected dancers nominated from their studio and honored on our “DANCERS WALL OF CHAMPIONS” and awarded $25 DC Gift Certificate

Scholarships awarded at each regional competition

REGIONAL AWARDS - One “trophy” will be awarded to all performances.  Duet/trios, groups and production performances will also be awarded placement ribbons.

HIGH POINT PERFORMANCES - All performances are eligible for HIGH POINT awards (except Rising Champion, Parent, Adults, 20 years and older routines)   HIGH POINT PERFORMANCES (achieving Platinum, High Gold or Gold) in PETITES, JUNIORS, TEENS, and SENIOR DIVISIONS WILL BE ANNOUNCED IN EACH CATEGORY (Solo, duet/trio, small group, large group, and production routines.) *Some Restrictions Apply
